September 8th was an all-out party at North Light Books and Café in Cotati. We had a Release Celebration for our just released anthology, Vintage Voices: A Toast to Life. Kudos to all of the Vintage Voices contributors and our friends and families who turned out for the big Release Party. It was an awesome event. The weather was perfect, the venue was perfect, and everyone had a perfectly wonderful afternoon of literature and camaraderie. Our emcee kept the program on track and some great photos were taken. All of the Redwood writers-turned-readers gave sparkling performances -- we already knew the writing was great. In the parking lot after the event, there was much overheard of attendees talking about the wonderful stories they had experienced. How inspiring!
Vintage Voices: A Sonoma County Writers Club Harvest is an anthology with works written by members of Redwood Writers, and includes a diversity of styles and genre. Its wine-drenched cover with an antique map, laced with grape vines, add to the charm of its content. The pages feature wide margins and double spacing that make each author’s piece easy to read and set apart from the others.
